Mopar, 1933 Plymouth, Not Rat Rod, Gasser

For Sale Old School 1933 Plymouth coupe, this car was built into a Hot Rod/ Street Racer in 1963, it was built originaly with a 409 and a 4speed, then in 1966 or 67 recieved a 426 race Hemi and an automatic, the car sat in storage in a garage from 1971 to late 2006 when I bought the car from the original builder..All Steel with a 32 Ford Grill, the trunk has been filled.



The cars engine is a fresh 1964 .060 over 413, so it is 426 ci, Stock Heads, M1 intake, Forged speed pro pistons, Comp Cams .525 hydraulic cam, double roller timing chain, 750 holley, forged crank, polished rods, ARP rod bolts and it has been balanced.



The Transmission is a 727 with an A+A reverse manual valve body, red race clutchs, modified pump support, deep aluminum pan, with a nitrous steel stator torque converter, all hooked to a vintage 1960s B/M Box shifter.



The rearend is a 8 3/4 with 35 spline spool, axles and new 4.30 gears, I put ladder bars and OLD koni coil over shock in place of the leaf springs and Long shackles.Has 29.5x10.5 Slicks on rear.



This car is mild enough to drive anywhere, and it get driven often, but has ran 10.80s in the 1/4, with a tight converter, I do have an NOS Big Shot plate on the car that isnt hooked up but should be hooked up and tested by Thanksgiving, I am sure the car will go high 9s, with ease, on a mild hit of Nitrous..



This car works great, drives good, and is a REAL DEAL 1960s HOT ROD, that had been in storage for over 35 years..
